
Celessa Baker is a marketer with over 15 years of corporate experience in the entertainment and beauty industries.In her current role as Sr. Director of Brand Marketing, Color (Makeup) at Sephora, she leads a team to develop integrated, retail marketing strategies for the portfolio of brands distributed at Sephora.
Since its inception in 2017, Celessa continues to be the executive sponsor of Sephora Noir, an ERG which helps network, mentor and connect with Sephora’s African American employees as well as external partners. One of her proudest accomplishments was being the retail marketing lead for Sephora’s Global exclusive launch of Fenty Beauty by Rhianna.
Prior to Sephora, Celessa has held marketing positions at the Los Angeles Lakers, Sony Music, Radio One and Men’s Wearhouse.
Celessa earned a BA in Organizational Communications from Chapman University, and lives in the Bay area with her husband and two young daughters.
